These naturalist-led programs are designed for all ages of explorers. Every month features a different topic that will get you and your family outdoors, learning about the plants and animals in our big backyard. This month we’re on a mission to locate monarch butterflies! We’ll learn about their amazing lifecycle and go on a hunt for milkweed plants - the only plant where female butterflies lay their eggs. If we find adult butterflies or caterpillars, we’ll learn how to submit our sightings to citizen science projects that are tracking monarch migration.
