Terakedis Fine Art plans to partner with Magpie Jewelry on Jan. 1 to elevate the fine art and artisan jewelry market in downtown Billings.

Sam Randall, owner of Magpie Jewelry, will be exhibiting artisan jewelry at Terakedis Fine Art from her stable of nationally known artists. Terakedis Fine Art is located at 112 N. Broadway.

The name change to Terakedis Fine Art and Jewelry shows the shared values of owners Zack Terakedis and Randall.

“We have been working together on marketing, customer care and a downtown vision for the past year," Terakedis said. “The joint venture meets our personal needs and gives us the opportunity to expand our hours, elevate our customer service and broaden our scope to bring regional consumers some of the finest artists in the country.”

Adding Randall's prior business experience and interest in promoting her artists was a natural fit for both the space and the quality of business, Terakedis said.

Randall grew up in Billings and graduated from MSU Bozeman with a degree in art. After 20 years in the restaurant business in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Randall and her husband returned to Billings in 2015 to be closer to family. Randall began taking metals classes in Albuquerque and was soon selling her artisan jewelry. Upon returning to Billings, she found a need for representation of well-crafted jewelry for regional and national artists.

“The move into Terakedis Fine Art represents the next step in the evolution of bringing artisan jewelry to the local market," Randall said. "The partnership will allow me to bring the finest jewelry artists to the Billings community through workshops, artwalks and the highest quality retail experience.”
