Dodie Rife will take over duties from Craig Huisenga as the new managing producer for NOVA Center for the Performing Arts on April 1.

Rife was selected after a national search and review process. According to a NOVA press release, Rife was chosen for her abilities in theater and her passion for education. She has been involved in the production side of many operas at the Alberta Bair Theater, along with recent shows at NOVA.

Huisenga is cutting back in his duties at NOVA due to family commitments. Huisenga will continue with the theater as a director and actor.

NOVA hosts a Youth Conservatory for theater and arts classes, including a program known as Venture into the Schools. NOVA also produces dramatic theater, musicals, smaller opera and main-stage opera. The organization also hosts Venture Improv and Funky Bunch improvisational comedy troupes.

MSUB and Rocky Mountain College students work at NOVA as interns.
