Senior High play "Heyokah/Hokahey"
"Heyokah/Hokahey," a stage show conceived and created by Bill Bowers and student actors from Senior High, plays for three days beginning Thursday, April 28.

“Heyokah/Hokahey,” conceived and created by Bill Bowers and the Billings Senior High student actors, and developed and directed by Bonnie Banks, performs at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, and Friday, April 29, and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, in the Billings Senior High Auditorium. Admission is $5.

A preview for teachers and others wishing to possibly use the play for discussion will be free and open to all at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 27.

Through mime and storytelling, the play celebrates the sacred clown, the spirit of the Lakota Sioux Heyokah.

Student actors are Colin Bradford, Tanner Cox, Tyler Gomola, Richard Guenther, Treyes Kantorowicz, Jared Kline, Haley Hatfield, Kyle Lahey, Hannah Lane, Lynn Laubach, Emily Kooistra-Manning, Sabrina Mayorga, Michael McCallum, Whitney Phillips, Paige Sears, Anastasia St. Clair, Emily Trafton, Brianna Wagner, Kaitlin Wagner, Will Woolston and Jacquelyn Yarbrough. Special choreography is by Courtney Forstner.
