Carrie La Seur

After a couple of false starts for her sophomore effort, Billings novelist Carrie La Seur brings readers "The Weight of an Infinite Sky." La Seur drew from her work as an environmental lawyer to tell the story of a son's return to  work on a family ranch and the challenges brought by a predatory mining company he and his neighbors must face.

NOVA Center for the Performing Arts is staging a reading on Feb. 22 of a scene from Carrie La Seur's new novel, "The Weight of an Infinite Sky."
