A reception Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Yellowstone Art Museum will welcome a new addition to downtown police patrols, Police Officer Harley Cagle.

The City of Billings and the Billings Business Improvement District announced today that Cagle has been selected as the second Downtown Resource Officer. He joins Downtown Resource Officer Shane Winden, who has been in place in downtown Billings since 2009. It's important for fans of ArtWalk and the upcoming Alive After Fan series to feel comfortable strolling the downtown streets after dark.

Cagle is stationed at the Downtown Billings Alliance office, 2815 2nd Ave. N. and can be reached at 294-5060 extension 105.

Since its creation in 2005, The Business Improvement District has been dedicated to "maintaining a clean, safe, and vibrant city center," according to a press release.
