"Auction of Arias: Opera on the Avenue” takes place Sunday, Oct. 21 at McCormick Cafe, 2419 Montana Avenue.
One of the most popular fundraisers of the year for NOVA Center for the Performing Arts, this event features national and regional opera performers singing a selection of favorite opera arias by Puccini, Mozart, and more, as well as Broadway showstoppers.
Professional opera singers will also offer up selections from “Nosferatu,” being staged by Rimrock Opera Company on Oct. 27 at the Alberta Bair Theater.
Guests will meet and mingle with opera artists, while enjoying select wines and desserts in this intimate setting. During the evening, attendees are able to bid of their choice of favorite opera singer to perform numbers from the program.
Principal singers from Nosferatu include Anton Belov, who plays Count Orlock (Dracula); Andrea Garritano playing Ellen; Scott Wichael as Eric; Jan Michael Kliewer performing as Dr. Harding; Kate Meyer as Marthe; Dennis Rupp as Skuller; and Douglas Nagel, who will be performing a Count Orlock cover. Susan McDaniel, Opera pianist, will accompany the singers.

Proceeds from Auction of Arias benefit NOVA’s mission to enhance the performing arts culture of the greater Billings region through education, development and performance.
