My favorite Hitchcock film is “North by Northwest,” what with the whole Cary Grant traveling cross-country to do secret spy business in a madcap case of mistaken identity. My other favorite Hitchcock film is “Vertigo,” starring Jimmy Stewart and his crazy meltdown to make the perfect woman. He should’ve just stuck with his secretary. She was nice.
You can see how nice Jimmy Stewart’s secretary was and just how crazy he gets at 7 p.m. Thursday, when the Parmly Billings Library offers a free showing of the murder mystery. Go to the third floor or call 657-8258 for more information.
Two exhibits are worth seeing over at the Yellowstone Art Museum before they come down in mid-January.
“Curious Finds’’ showcases 10 local collectors’ eclectic works, and “Post Secrets’’ opens a window to anonymous secrets with hundreds of mounted postcards each one revealing a secret. “Finds’’ comes down Jan. 10 and “Post Secrets’’ comes to a close on Jan. 17.
