Looking for a fun way to spend your time and money this weekend or into the next week? Here are some top picks from The Gazette’s Cathy Ulrich and Jaci Webb.
It’s like the Rimrock Humane Society has looked into my soul. Their event, Wine & Whiskers, combines two of my favorite things: the love of animals and drinking to forget how awful my cat is (she’s really awful). The benefit runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Yellowstone Art Museum, 401 N. 27th, and features wine, gourmet food, live entertainment and silent auctions. The good news for all of you is that my awful, awful cat won’t be in attendance. Tickets are $20 or $30 per couple. For information, call 281-0408 or go to www.rimrockhumanesociety.org.
Hard to say, but easy to love. Billings’ newest dance company, Terpsichore, makes its full stage debut Saturday at the Babcock Theatre after performing last weekend at the Rogue Gallery’s Halloween event. Performances are at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are cheap — $15 for adults, $10 for ages 7 to 12 — when you consider it buys you a place in history to witness the birth of a contemporary dance company.
