The Big Sky International Comedy Comp will be held Oct. 4-6 at various locations around Billings.
Twenty-four comedians from all over the U.S will come to Billlings for three days and battle it out for a cash prize of $5,000. Comedians will also have the opportunity to perform in front of Hollywood agents and club owners, as part of the competition, according to promoter Lukas Seely.
The 20 comedians will be split into two groups, who perform at different venues on the first two nights. Comedians are ranked each night. The Top 8 will move into the finals, which will be held Oct. 6 at the Babcock Theatre.
Local comedians' stand-up routines were filmed last month at Manny's Entertainment and are available for viewing and voting at The Billings Gazette's website. Voting is now open at billingsgazette.com to select one of the local comedians to compete in the event.
