Chicago heavy metal band Disturbed will perform at Rimrock Auto Arena on July 28 with special guests Pop Evil.
The two-time Grammy nominated group is on the second leg of arena shows, beginning in July, and touring in support of a new album, "Evolution," the hard rock quartet's seventh full-length album since forming in 1996.
“You never know what you’re going to get from us,” said guitarist Dan Donegan, one of the founding members of the band, in a press release. “This is a really personal album. We’re just creating a different beds of music to connect with different emotions. We didn’t play it safe.”
Disturbed performed at the Shrine Auditorium in 2006, and Pop Evil were last in town in 2018, performing at the Pub Station. Donegan describes his fans as the reason the group has been going for more than two decades.
"The fans have given us this life and allowed us to bring our music to them. I don’t see an end to it. As a band, we continue to inspire each other. We haven’t lost that drive in over 20-something years together.”
Tickets, priced from $49.50 to $89.50, go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. Every ticket purchased online includes a CD or digital copy of the new album.
