To celebrate downtown Billings, the Downtown Billings Alliance has relaunched First Fridays, featuring local shops, restaurants, cultural venues, and nightlife hot spots on the first Friday of every month.
Participating shops and businesses host special events, offer refreshments and promotions, and sponsor live entertainment. All events are open to the public, and designated hours are 5 - 8 p.m., though many participating locations are open later.
First Friday is promoted by the Downtown Billings Alliance. Each month, Enjoy! Billings will publish a list of events taking place as part of First Friday.

Arts and culture
ArtWalk is downtown event every other month with more than 40 locations that include galleries, art studios, businesses, a church, non-profit entities, professional offices and other locations that value the creative spirit that thrives in downtown Billings. Food and beverages are often served and live music is offered at many of the locations.
Wise Wonders Children's Museum at 110 N. 29th St. will be offering free admission and extended hours during First Friday.
Yellowstone Art Museum at 401 N. 27th St. present live music by Wes Urbaniak. The museum is also offering free admission and a cash bar.
Aspinwall at 103 N. 28th St. features photography from Trevan Hiersche and paintings from Sean McCotter. The company is also featuring a new screen printing design and offering complementary Montana Brewing Co. beer.
Liberty & Vine Country Store at 2019 Montana Ave. is hosting a "Hen Party" with Iron Maiden Welding, a "make & take" bath bomb class hosted by Rock Creek Soaps, and will be serving sangrias.
Montague's Jewlers, at 2810 Second Ave N., is offering wine and appetizers and showcasing products.
Sandstone, a co-op gallery at 2913 Second Ave. N., has 16 member artists and will be featuring Nancy Morrison's watercolors and handmade leather bags. Morrison and other local artists will be on hand to discuss their works.
Something Chic, is now open at 2818 Second Ave. N. Downtown's newest boutique, they'll be celebrating with some bubbly beverages and sweet treats.
Art House Cinema, 109 N. 30th St., and the Babcock Theater, 2810 Second Ave. N., are celebrating First Friday by offering free popcorn with each ticket purchase.
Free Spirit Rock School will be performing a free show at Hooligans Sports Bar, performing rock, blues, soul, funk and jazz.
Kirks' Grocery, 2920 Minnesota Ave., hosts a post-ArtWalk party with live music by Mandie Casto and the Photoshoppers, starting at 9 p.m.
The Monte, at 2824 First Ave. N., is hosting a late-night First Friday after-party with DJ Cosmic Slop, Billings' only all-vinyl DJ.
The Pub Station at 2502 First Ave. N. hosts an all ages performance by Square Hammer, a Ghost tribute band, with The Maension.
Food and drinks
Hooligans Sports Bar at 109 N. Broadway is offering happy hour from 5-6 p.m. All beer, house wine & wells will be $2.50 with live music from the Free Spirit Rock School.
Jake's Downtown, at 2701 First Ave. N., is offering 30 percent discounts from 5 - 8 p.m. on bottled wine from Jake's "World Blends" list.
Last Chance Pub & Cider Mill at 2203 Montana Ave. is offering a Friday dinner special of braised short ribs with gnocchi and wild mushroom demi glace and fresh spring peas.
Montana Brewing Co. at 113 N. Broadway hosts happy hour from 5 - 6 p.m.. All beer, house wine & wells will be $2.50, and their patio is open for the season.
Pita Pit at 2813 Second Ave. N. is celebrating National Pride Month and donating $1 from every smoothie sold to 406 Pride Resource Center. Marge and Sushi from the Fish Stix will be hosting Friday's event.
TEN at the Northern Hotel, 19 N. Broadway, hosts live music and offers drink specials from 5 - 8 p.m. Five percent of all drink sales will go to Relay for Life.
