Vint Lavinder performs as Charlotte von Mahlsdorf in the Backyard Theatre Company's production of "I Am My Own Wife," a play based on the true story of a transgender German woman who lived during WWII and the rise and fall of the Berlin Wall. The play will be staged at the turn-of-the-century Moss Mansion on Jan. 11, 12, 18, and 19.

Ghost House

Artist Jennifer Eli French has created a series of sculptures and images for an art installation that kicks of the NEA's Big Read in Billings. This one, titled "Ghost House," and several others make up the project, titled "This Vibrant, Tarnished World," with an opening reception from 5 -8 p.m. on Thursday at the Northcutt Steele Gallery in the LA building, first floor (on display through February 21).
