"Sacrifice Cliff" by Marie Taylor

"Sacrifice Cliff" by Marie Taylor is one of several encaustic works on display at the Ryniker-Morrison Gallery at Rocky Mountain College Jan. 10 - 31.

Taylor works in oil, cold wax, and encaustic. Her studies include travel to Ireland, Egypt, and Morocco. "I love traveling and taking art classes, it is fun to see what comes out of a class or an experience through an art piece," said Taylor.

The gallery, located in Tech Hall on the RMC campus, is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with exceptions during College holidays.

Ryniker-Morrison Gallery at Rocky Mountain College hosts Marie Taylor's solo show, "Encaustic Exploration," Jan. 10 - 31, with opening reception Thursday, Jan. 10 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
