“YPR has been trying to get Says You! to come here for the last three years or so and finally, schedules and all of the other pieces fell into place,” said Maddie Alpert, underwriting and public information specialist with Yellowstone Public Radio.
“We love Says You! at the station and are so excited to be a part of making these live events happen in Montana,” she said.
“Says You!” is event radio played live in front of large audiences nationwide, according to the program’s website. Dubbed “Parties for Smarties” by Time Magazine, two teams sharpen their wits and wordplay on each other’s comebacks, engaging loyal public radio listeners, the website states.
“Says You!,” is to radio what Jeopardy! is to television – a game show that playfully transcends the question-and-answer format to become a hilarious, edgy exercise in recreational thinking.
In Billings, Two shows will be played for national broadcast with a brief intermission.
An intimate VIP Q&A at 6:45 p.m. with the cast of “Says You!” is also available. VIP attendees will also receive premium seating.
