“Cats and Dogs.” Wynnsong 10. Rated PG-13. Unbeknownst to their human companions, dogs have been fighting for thousands of years to keep mankind from falling under the rule of cats.

“Scary Movie 2.” Carmike 7. Rated R. A follow-up spoof that picks up from where the original satire left off, which takes aim at supernatural thrillers such as “The Exorcist” and “Stigmata” among others, parodying the root of great classic horror movies.

“A.I.” Wynnsong 10. Rated PG-13. Sometime in the distant future, the world is run by robots with highly sophisticated artificial intelligence. In the midst of it all stands one boy and a robotic teddy bear who long for something more.

“Baby Boy.” Carmike 7. Rated PG-13. This film picks up where “Boyz N the Hood” left off, following the daily life, relationships, and conflicts of a young man who’s unemployed, living with his mother.

“crazy/beautiful.” Carmike 7. Rated PG-13. Kirsten Dunst stars in this teen drama about a romance between two teenagers at an L.A. high school. Dunst plays a bored and rebellious rich girl.

“The Fast and the Furious.” Carmike 7. Rated PG-13. A rookie cop goes undercover, posing as a racing team member, in order to investigate a jewelry heist.

“Shrek.” Wynnsong 10. Rated PG. Once upon a time there lived an ogre named Shrek whose solitude is suddenly shattered by an invasion of annoying fairy tale characters.

“Tomb Raider.” Wynnsong 10. Rated PG-13. Based on the popular video game of the same name, this film stars Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft, a tough, sexy, armed adventurer.
