Song Dog Serenade

Nate Smallwood, Scott Moore, Paddy Moore and Mike Blohm are Song Dog Serenade. The quartet will perform during the Yellowstone Bluegrass Association Spring Bluegrass Showcase at the Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch chapel on Friday. Celtic Harpists and multi-instrumentalists Lisa Lynne & Aryeh Frankfurter will be performing a concert of rare instruments and sharing stories at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3 at Billings Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.

Lynne and Frankfurter will perform traditional instrumental music from Sweden and Ireland, as well as original compositions on Celtic harp, Swedish Nyckelharpa, and assorted instruments from the mandolin, cittern and bouzouki family. Magic City Saxophone Quartet

The Magic City Saxophone Quartet performs a concert in honor of Jazz Appreciation Month at 3 p.m. April 28 in the Taylor Auditorium at Losekamp Hall. The group is Scott Jeppesen on soprano and alto saxes, Thomas Burke on alto sax, Matt Austin on tenor sax, and Mady Johnson on bari sax. Classic and modern jazz standards arranged for saxophone quartet including arrangements of Thelonious Monk , Weather Report, Gershwin, and more will be performed. The performance is a presentation of Yellowstone Chamber Players, costing $10 for adults, $5 for students, and RMC faculty, students and staff are admitted free of charge.
