Jalan Crossland

Jalan Crossland returns to Billings on Saturday, April 13, playing at Craft Local at 5 p.m. A Wyoming resident, Crossland fuses the storied life of a western troubadour with highly skilled playing. His latest release, "Singalongs for the Apocalypse," was awarded Wyoming Public Radio’s people’s Choice Award for best Wyoming release of 2017.

Sláinte traditional Irish music sessions

Sláinte resumes its traditional Irish music sessions at Craft Local on April 16 from 7 - 9 p.m. The group, named for the Irish word for "cheers," was known for performances at the now closed Pug Mahone's Irish Pub. Composed of Billings musicians who play traditional Irish music in a casual pub session setting, the sessions are open to anyone who can play traditional tunes. Music includes instrumental dance pieces such as reels, jigs, Irish polkas, slides, slip jigs, and waltzes interspersed with vocals from the Irish and Scottish tradition.
