Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

Nitty Gritty Band has grown in recent years to a six-piece that includes Jeff Hanna (acoustic guitar, electric guitar), Jimmie Fadden (drums, harmonica), Bob Carpenter (keyboards), Jim Photoglo (bass, acoustic guitar), Ross Holmes (fiddle, mandolin), and Jaime Hanna (electric and acoustic guitar). All six members also sing, and when their voices merge, the harmonies add a powerful new component for the legendary band. And with the father-son pairing of Jeff and Jaime Hanna, the band carries on a country music tradition of blood harmony. The band performs June 29 in downtown Billings during the Summer Sounds concert.

The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band headlines Downtown Summer Sounds on June 29, presented by the Downtown Billings Alliance.

The outdoor concert will feature opening acts Coyote Brother at 6 p.m. followed by southern rock band Steel Woods, and then Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

Coyote Brother

 J. Hardin and Hayward Williams are Coyote Brother, opening up the Downtown Billings Alliance's Summer Sounds concert on June 29. Other acts include Steele Woods and headliners the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
