Myke Bogan

Myke Bogan, a hip-hop lyrical architect with a large following, plays the Pub Station Friday, Oct 25.

California-born, Florida-raised, and a University of South Dakota alumn, Bogan has released two projects, "Joe Fontana" and "Pool Party." The latter was nominated third for best album of the year by Willamette Weekly in Portland, OR. Together they have gotten positive reviews by Pitchfork, Earmilk, Paste, Vortex Mag, P&P, Eyes and Edge, Hip Hop DX, and more. Both videos for "Pool Party" were released on Pigeons and Planes, a music discovery platform.

Vinyl release onto its second pressing having only been out two months, Myke Bogan, who floats between Portland and LA, has enjoyed remarkable underground and commercial buzz by consistently releasing good music. His past mixtapes have hit number 14 on iTunes Top 100 and number one on Bandcamp the day it dropped. He’s attracting the right kind of attention and has successfully set the precedent for his stylized visuals and dynamic delivery. All of his accomplishments coupled with a charismatic and fiery persona, have resulted in a cult-like following for Bogan.
