April Dawn and Josh Carter of Inkronicity Tattoo host a Steampunk-themed tattoo silent auction on Friday, Oct. 5 at the Yellowstone Art Museum's Murdock Gallery.
"We've spent weeks with our imaginations on overdrive and pens to paper to create phenomenally unique sleeves, backpieces as well as smaller tattoo concepts, all anticipating their synchronistic home," Dawn said.
In addition to the silent auction, "not-so-silent" performances will take place featuring Mandie Castro, Onsense, and Hubba Hubba, as well as the AlternaCirque Aerialists, flow performers, art by Jason Jam, and "The Cocktail Party" by Jesse Harkness in the courtyard.
The event takes place from 4:30 - 8:30 p.m. A $10 admission gets you in the gallery and enters you into a raffle to win tattoo time with Dawn or Carter. Funds raised from the event will go toward purchasing the building that Dawn and Carter operate their tattoo business from. They plan to expand the tattoo studio to include FRETless Music, a place for lessons, instrument repairs, world instruments, recording, as well as a venue for music and performance, according to Dawn.
