DANGEROUS CHILD: A single mother (Delta Burke) struggles to deal with a teenage son (Ryan Merriman) who has become verbally and physically abusive toward her. This new made-for-cable movie aims to increase awareness of what is said to be a little-recognized problem. 9 p.m. on Lifetime.

UNWRAPPED: Ever wonder about the stories behind your favorite “pop-culture foods”? This new series promises some answers, starting tonight with breakfast cereals. (There’s even a museum devoted to “cereal icons” such as Tony the Tiger.) Future topics will include beer and peanut butter (separately). 10:30 p.m. on the Food Network.
