FISHTAIL — Yep, they’re back. Deep-fried bull testicles are served up for free during the 11th Annual Testicle Festival on Saturday at the Cowboy Bar and Supper Club in Fishtail.

The late Al Walker, longtime coach and community leader, started the event. Walker invited ranchers from the area to bring in testicles after brandings. The testicles are kept frozen until the festival.

Long-time rancher Jack Hash served as the head chef for years, but he is now in a Columbus nursing home and volunteers will do the cooking this year. The testicles are deep-fried and served with potato salad and chips. The food is free.

Music is provided by Nye Express beginning at 9 p.m. Commemorative T-shirts are sold at the event. This year’s artist is Scott Severance, now a Rocky Mountain College professor and former basketball player at Rocky.
