Yellowstone Chamber Players

Yellowstone Chamber Players from left include Rebekah Reger (percussion), Elizabeth Adcock (guitar), Sheri Rolf on clarinet, Mady Johnson on saxophone.

Yellowstone Chamber Players are inviting audiences to "don flannel, chords, denim, and plaids and relax" during their upcoming performance on Sunday, Nov. 11.

The Yellowstone Chamber Players will do the same for this casual program that features works that have been performed by the ensemble at recent regional and international music festivals.

Guitarist Elizabeth Adcock and clarinetist Sheri Rolf recently performed at the International Clarinet Association's ClarinetFest 2018 in Ostende, Belgium. Their performance of Bellefronte’s "Suite for Clarinet and Guitar" was described as “very tasteful,” according to Rolf, and will be repeated at the November concert.

In October, Adcock and Rolf once again hit the road with saxophonist Mady Johnson and percussionist Rebekah Reger. They were invited to perform at the American Single Reed Summit at Truman State University in Missouri and performed "Aprés de Bandoneon" by Patrick Roux, a composition they will  reprise for the upcoming concert.

The program will also include Paul Hindemith’s "Zwei Duette for Violin and Clarinet," performed by Megan Karls, violin and Sheri Rolf, clarinet, and Mozart Duo in Bb Major, KV 424, for Violin and Viola featuring Megan Karls, violin, and Amy Letson, viola.

The performance takes place at 3 p.m. in Cisel Hall on the campus of Montana State University Billings. Admission is $10 at the door.
