Chaka Khan complains she sounds 'like a chipmunk' on Kanye West's 'Through The Fire'
The Woman Like Me singer appeared on Good Day DC on 1 August for an interview about her new single when interviewer Marissa Mitchell mentioned Chaka's apparent distaste for Kanye West's Through The Fire. According to Complex, Chaka has previously expressed disappointment for how Kanye sampled her music on the track which she told Marissa made her sound “like a chipmunk”. She explained:, “(Kanye) didn't mention that he was gonna speed it up, you know, three times its normal speed. Had he, I would've had something to say”.
