Club Wrap: Blistered Earth at the Pub Station, Hubba Hubba at Bones, Petit at Commons 1882

  • Updated

Blistered Earth bills itself as the "best Metallica tribute band on the planet," and they've got seven years of touring to back that up.

They will bring the show to the Pub Station on Friday, May 13, at 9 p.m. Tickets for the age-21-plus show are $10 at the door.

Playing classic songs ranging from 1983's "Kill Em' All," to 1991's self-titled "Metallica," this tribute pays respects to one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time with the raw energy, showmanship, look and song selections that die-hard Metallica fans want to see and hear.

An Oscar winner for best documentary, it’s a triumph of editing and reporting that is much more than a concert film.
