LEWISTOWN — Alma Pauline Satterfield, 87, of Lewistown and former Roy area resident, a sweet lady, left this earth on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, for a better place.

She was born to Anton and Helen (Darrah) Rindal on April 11, 1923, in Lewistown. She was raised on a ranch near Fergus and remained in the Fergus and Roy area for 60 years. Alma attended Romunstead Country School through eighth grade, then graduated from Roy High School in 1941. She later attended Billings Business College for one year. On Dec. 16, 1945, Alma was united in marriage to Jesse M. Satterfield. He still had one year to serve in the Navy. When he returned, they lived with and worked for her parents for seven years.
