Barbara Kay Webb passed away Feb. 21, 2011, in Billings. She was born Nov. 27, 1931, to Raymond and Myrna (Gilbert) York in Kearney, Neb., growing up on a ranch in central Nebraska. She married her high school beau, Dean K. Webb in Julesburg, Colo., Nov. 25, 1949. Together they had two sons, Barbara taking the major role in raising them. The much repeated phrase, "Take off your shoes before coming in the house!" comes to mind. Mrs. Webb served many years as president of the Beartooth Hospital Board in Red Lodge before moving to Billings in 2001 where she worked as a volunteer at St. Vincent Hospital. Barbara was a gardener Cum Laude.

She is survived by her husband Dean of Billings; two sons, William K. Webb USMC- Retired, of Billings and Kipp B. (Lise) Webb M.D., cardiologist of Bozeman; two grandsons, Evan (Abby) of Los Angles, Calif., and Nicolas (Anne) of Seattle, Wash.
