Beverly Gray passed away on Jan. 14, 2009, at her home in Billings.
Beverly was born on Oct. 26, 1930, in Froid, to Clint and Adelia Skillingberg. Beverly received her bachelor's degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and later her master's at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, La.
On June 21, 1959, she married Joseph D. Gray at Homestead Lutheran Church in Homestead. In 1967, they moved to Billings. Beverly worked at many educational institutions in the area, including the Public School District, Rocky Mountain College and Montana State University Billings.
Beverly was a member of the Laurel Golf Club, one of many house managers at Billings Studio Theatre and an enthusiastic volunteer at the Alberta Bair Theater. She enjoyed a large circle of friends and activities, including gardening, shopping and playing golf.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and recently a dear friend, Flo Saltmarsh.
She is survived by her two children, Steven Earl Kent Gray of Billings and Adelia Gray Ganson of Corder, Mo.; granddaughter Amethyst Jade Ganson of Corder; and sister Helen Harvey of Froid.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1108 24th St. Wesy.
