Blanche K. Engebretsen passed away on Dec. 22, 2008, in Billings at the age of 98. She married Fred Webster in 1936, lived in Longview, Wash., until 1938, and then moved to Cut Bank. Fred passed away in 1949 and she married Oliver Engebretsen in 1953. Oliver passed away in 1957. She moved to Billings in 1960 and had lived there since. She had lived at West Park senior residence since 1998.
Blanche was survived by her son, Kent Webster of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and his wife Lou and their two children, her daughter Lori Grasse of Billings and her two sons; her stepson-in-law Arthur Talpt of Tallahassee, Fla., and his two children; and her stepson Dick Engebretsen and his two children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Webster; her husband, Oliver Engebretsen; her stepdaughter Arla Talpt, her step son Fred Engebretsen and her seven sisters and brothers, all of whom were born in Bridger, Mont.
Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held in the Spring in Billings and Bridger. Donations can be made in her name to the MS Society.
