Bradley Charles Wood, 89, died Nov. 30, 2017, Kaysville, Utah. He was born on June 2, 1928, in Island Lake, Wisconsin, to Bernie and Elma Wood and raised in the New Auburn, Wisconsin area.
While visiting Yellowstone National Park he met the love of his life Patricia “Pat” Lowman. They married in 1959 and raised five children in Madison, Wisconsin. Brad enjoyed coaching his kid’s baseball teams and Scout trips with them. Golfing replaced hunting and fishing as favorite pastime.
After marrying Pat, Brad gained five brothers and three sisters (yes a bit overwhelming). There was Archie, Bill, Albert and Dorothy (all four deceased), Bob, Jeannette, Evelyn and Arnold all living in Montana.
Brad is survived by his wife Patricia; five children: Ted (Jani) of Houston, Texas, Tom (Jennifer) of Kaysville, Utah, Julie Arslanian of Layton, Utah, Joe (Crystal) of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Holly Wood Salazar (Gamy) of Amarillo, Texas; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Brad will always be remembered for is kindness, honesty and his love for his family.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m., with a viewing from 10-10:40 a.m., at the Kaysville 3rd Ward LDS Chapel 855 East Mutton Hollow Road Kaysville, Utah. Interment will follow in the Kaysville City Cemetery.
