DENVER — Bruce Kevin Hoffman died June 21, 2014, at VA Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born Feb. 13, 1961, to Margaret and Jack Hoffman in Billings.

He is survived by his mother Margaret Hoffman; brother Greg (son Daniel) of St. Mary, Kan.; uncle Ken of Butte; aunts Sharon (Jim) of Windsor, Colo., Marie Robuck of Denver, Marvel (Albert) Bastoni of Laurel; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, and his Grandpa and Grandma Robuck.

Bruce lived in Billings, receiving his education at Broadwater School, Lincoln Junior High and Senior High. He later received his bachelor’s degree in business in Denver. From 1978 to 1985, Bruce served in the U.S. Air Force for seven years, two of which were in Turkey. He moved to Denver 25 years ago, and met and married Holly Range. They later divorced, but Holly and her family remained great friends with Bruce. At the time of his death, he was a truck driver for C.R. England, based out of Cheyenne, Wyo.

Bruce was known as a gentle giant, well-loved with a beautiful spirit and contagious laugh. He always had a sparkle in his eyes.

A graveside service is planned for a later date.
