LITTLE FALLS, Minn. - Carol H. (Burbank) Moody, 61-year-old resident of Little Falls, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her loving husband Ed and dear sister Cheri at her side, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 22, at 12 noon, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.
Carol was born Oct. 1, 1947, in Toronto, Canada, to Ann (Szun) and the late Peter Burbank. Carol was united in marriage to Edward Moody in 1979 in Deadwood, S.D. The couple made their home in the Billings area. Carol was a homemaker and awesome cook. The couple enjoyed showing their cattle at numerous shows throughout the western United States. Carol enjoyed gardening, showing her cattle, cooking for friends and family, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her husband Ed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Edward Moody of Little Falls; mother, Ann Burbank of Cleveland, Ohio; daughter, Sonia Shellito and husband, Christopher of Parma, Ohio; stepchildren, Deborah, Kim, David and Kevin; many step-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Mascol and husband, Donald, Sr. and Cheryl Klimo and husband, Jerold, of Lorain County, Ohio. Aunt to nine and grandaunt to 16. She was a loving cousin to many Canadians, including Orest Hryniewich, Leshia Zabudney Norman, Eugene, Daniel and Nicholas Szun. She was preceded in death by her beloved infant sons, John Peter and Paul Lee Petitti; father, Peter Burbank and stepson, Michael Moody.
