Our beloved daughter, Cecelia passed away peacefully in her sleep in her Billings home on Jan. 22, 2012, surrounded by her loving family after a 1-1/2-year-long courageous battle with cancer at the young age of 52.
Cecelia was the firstborn daughter to proud parents Gene and Barbara Padilla on Aug. 17, 1959, in Lovell, Wyo.
Survivors include her two children, son Kenneth Ivan Herren of Lovell, Wyo., daughter Jessica Herren (Jeremy) Bledsoe; and her two precious grandchildren, Mishila and Christian Bledsoe, all of Billings, whom she loved with all her heart. Also surviving her are her parents, Gene and Barbara Padilla; her siblings, brothers, Mike Padilla, Timothy Padilla, sisters, Jackie (Jamie) Ketcham, Shelly (Tony) Allen, April (Kara) Padilla, all of Billings; and numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Cecelia is preceded in death by her two twin bothers, Timothy and Adam Padilla of Lovell, Wyo.
To all of those who knew Cecelia and the beautiful compassionate person and friend she was, you were truly blessed to be a part of her life. We will all miss her joy and laughter she brought to us all. We will truly miss her loving and caring heart she had for everyone and people she took care of throughout her career.
Until we meet again, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Live, laugh and love, for life is short, but most all, be happy. Life must go on. Remember me, but let me go, for I am now home.
Special thatnks to the doctors and nurses at Frontier Cancer Center and Rocky Mountain Hospice, especially Nikki and Kathy, who gave great care with compassion in taking care of our Cecelia in her last days.
As per Cecelia's wishes, cremation has taken place. Services are pending at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lovell, Wyo., for a later date.
