Colin F. Glasgow, age 92, of Billings, passed on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017. He was born on May 21, 1925, in Barnesville, Minnesota, spending his childhood, school years there and leaving after graduating from Barnesville High School. Colin had a brief time playing in minor league baseball for the Red Sox, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and college years in Scotland. He ventured in various fields of work with the last 20 years in commercial real estate in Billings before retiring. Colin’s joy was in his family, friends, his passion for reading and continued love for the game of baseball. He inspired many friends with his wisdom, words and amazing stories!
Colin was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel Glasgow; his siblings, James Glasgow Jr., Audrey Tschache, Janice Torson and his daughter Moira.
Colin is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mae; six children, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Atonement Lutheran Church at 1290 Sierra Granda Blvd. in Billings.
