PARK CITY - Donald Popelka, of Park City, passed away at St. Vincent Healthcare, on Monday, May 5, 2003. Donald was born Dec. 28, 1918, to Ed and Gina Popelka at Acton. He graduated from Broadview High School in 1936, and from Billings Business College in 1938. On Sept. 26, 1942, he married Reva Nash, his lifelong partner of 60 years.
Donald farmed with his dad and had already bought a quarter section of farmland by the time he was 18 years old. It was here that Don and Reva made their home, adding more land as time went by. In 1975, they moved to the Big Timber area. They lived there until retiring and moving to Park City in 1984.
Donald was very proud of his family and of his 601/2 years of marriage. His hobbies consisted of hunting, reloading shells, fishing and playing pinochle at the Park City Senior Center, the South Park Senior Center and with his family and friends. He was always ready for a good game of cards.
Donald is survived by his loving wife; two sons, Ronald (Janice) and David (Jerri); a daughter, Diane Wegner (Jerry); grandsons, Ray (Pam), Don (Carolyn), Scott (Lisa), Daryl (Brenda), Randall (Stephanie), Chayne (Brandy) and Jason Leonard; a granddaughter, Beverly Cornish; eight great-grandsons; 4 great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ralph; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy.

Cremation is planned and a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the Smith West Chapel, 304 34th St. West in Billings. Private interment of the urn will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
