Just nine days shy of her 96th birthday, Dorothy passed peacefully Monday morning, Feb. 12, 2018.
The family had just moved all of Dorothy's furniture over to a new room at West Park Village, but our heavenly Father decided He wanted her to move in with him instead.
Dorothy was born Feb. 21, 1922 in Leslie, Missouri to Samuel and Clara Manion. She was one of seven children. Dec. 5, 1942 Dorothy married Donald G. Hungerford in St. Charles, Missouri where he was stationed while in the service. After Don’s discharge, they moved to Montana. Three children were born to this union. They resided in Rapelje, Montana until Don’s death in 1967. Dorothy and the children moved into Billings in 1967. Dorothy went back to school and received her LPN license. She worked at Western Manor Nursing Home until her retirement. We were very proud of her accomplishments.
In 1972 Dorothy married Edward (Bob) Damm. They were married 34 years and enjoyed traveling and their life together. Bob Damm passed away in 2006. In 2012 Dorothy moved into the West Park Assisted Living facility where she resided until her death.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her two husbands, Don Hungerford and Bob Damm.
She is survived by her children Rita (Keith) Murray, Donald Wayne (Lorraine) Hungerford and Linda (George) Knutson, Stepchildren Debbie (Mike) Pelensky, Bobby Damm and several nieces and nephews.
