A memorial service for Dorothy Vest White, who passed away on Feb. 17, will be conducted on Tuesday, April 2, the 90th anniversary of her birth. The service is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the Elks Club, 934 Lewis Ave., in Billings.

Dorothy was born on April 2, 1923, at Lewis Camp near Midwest, Wyo., to Ernest and Nola (Streeter) Vest. She graduated from Johnson County High School in Buffalo, Wyo., 1941, and attended the University of Wyoming. She married Darrell Thomas White on May 6, 1944, and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister, Arlene “Tat” Bunning of Buffalo; and by four children, Bob White of Ranchester, Wyo., Darolyn Spannuth of Escanaba, Mich., Patricia White of Pistola, Italy, and Denise Lukins of Vancouver, Wash. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
