Edna M. Palmer, 87, passed away in Billings, April 15, 2011, at Billings Health and Rehabilitation Community.
Edna was born Jan. 14, 1924 in Belmont, Neb., to Millie and Carl Schneider. She married Glenn Palmer in Oct. of 1943, in Auburn, Neb. She was a waitress the majority of her life. She was employed at the Owl Café in Laurel and the Muzzle Loader Café in Billings.
Edna is survived by one son Danny Palmer of Laurel. She is also survived by her sisters Rosemary Marnell of Peru, Neb., and Marcella Sayer of Phoenix, Ariz.; as well as other numerous loved ones. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers Harry Schneider, Carl Schneider and Wayne Schneider; and sisters Ellen Pierce and Vera Huey
The family would like to thank the people at Billings Health and Rehab and Riverstone Health Hospice for the excellent care that they gave Edna.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Smith Downtown Chapel, located at 925 South 27 Street. Interment will follow at Terrace Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will begin 5 p.m. Monday, April 18, at Smith Downtown Chapel. Memorial donations can be sent to Riverstone Health Hospice.
