Elmer H. Sieck passed away on Sept. 22, 2012, at the age of 99. He was born on Aug. 18, 1913, in Emerald, Neb. He received his education in Nebraska and was a farmer northwest of Lincoln, Neb. He served as a volunteer fireman, fire board member and was active on various church boards. Elmer was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Malcolm, Neb. He lived for 95 years in Nebraska prior to moving to Billings to be near his daughter and family.
Elmer was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda; parents and two brothers, Walter and Milton; and one sister, Minnie.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Frank Felke, Billings; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Kay Sieck, Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren, Pat (Nancy) Felke and Alan (April) Felke from Washington and Lynn (Royal) Caraveau, Billings; and three great grandchildren.
Family would like to thank the staff and friends at Mission Ridge, Vista and Transitional Care Cottage. He received excellent care from the staff. During the short four years he lived in Billings, he was proud of his friends at St. John’s.
