Eugene Carmichael passed away on April 10, 2011, at Parkview Care Center, where he had resided for the past three years.
Eugene was born on Feb. 23, 1926, in Beulah, N.D., the son of Edwin and Maude Carmichael, and brother to Lucille and Agnes.
He served in the army during World War II. After his discharge, he went to work for many years as a mechanic for a local freight company.
Eugene was an avid horse lover. He enjoyed working with horses and, in his free time, enjoyed going down to PAYS and helping on cattle sale days. Eugene was a member of the riding club (The Billings Mounted Quadrille and later the Billings Saddle Club).
He leaves behind two daughters, Pamela and Jane, both of Billings; and a son, Wayne (Lorraine) of Park City; brother-in-law Tom Breshears of Billings; and many nieces and nephews.
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Maude; sister Agnes Breshears; and a sister, Lucille Miller.
Per his wish, cremation has taken place.
A special thanks to the staff at Parkview Care Center for their care of Eugene.
