Frank Anton Billman, 81, of Billings died peacefully Jan. 10, 2018, with his family by his side. Frank was born on Jan. 27, 1936, to Elizabeth Doll-Billman and Anton Billman, and grew up in a small town in North Dakota. He worked on the farm as a young boy with his father and siblings. His siblings consist of three brothers: Nick, Leo, and Jacob (deceased), and a sister Delores.
At the beginning of his teenage years, Frank left North Dakota. He owned an excavation business, which was his pride and joy.
Frank Anton Billman and Elizabeth Catherine (Betty) Erhardt were joined in marriage Nov. 12, 1960. They brought four children into the world together.
Frank was preceded in death by his mother, father, and infant brother Jacob.
Frank is survived by his wife Betty; his son Troy (Pam) Billman; and his three daughters: Tammy (Scott) McCallum, Tina Mehling, and Toni (Lonnie) Messner. Frank is also survived by his loving grandchildren: Kendra Harris, Lexi Karl, Christopher Billman, Erik McCallum, Kayla Messner-Jones, Ashley Messner, Katherine Mehling, and Rachel Mehling,; great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Taylor, Bryson, Kylee, Wyatt, Trey, Ryen, Harper, and Shane. Frank adored his great-grandkids and will be dearly missed by all of his family.
Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14, at Cremation & Funeral Gallery. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 15, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Parish.
