Gayle Ann Trusler gently left this life on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, to join her baby sister and father in heaven.
Gayle was born in Billings on Feb. 18, 1951. She was the second daughter of Calvit S. and Betty (Quanbeck) Trusler.
Gayle graduated from West High School and Eastern Montana College (MSU-B). She worked seven years as a social worker for Yellowstone County. In 1984, she moved to Washington D.C. and worked as an aide for several Congressmen. After her return to Billings, she co-owned a gift shop with her sister.
Gayle was preceded in death by her grandparents; uncles Bob Quanbeck and Stephen Trusler; her father; and baby sister.
Gayle is survived by her mother; her sister Sharon (Melvin) Miller; her niece Lea Ann (Todd) Zinne and nephews Steve (Stephanie) Miller and Greg (Diane) Miller; also by her aunt Shirley Quanbeck; and uncles Maurice (Barbara) Quanbeck, James (Elsa) Quanbeck, John Trusler and Tom (Suzanne) Trusler. She was a great-aunt to three nieces and three nephews.
Gayle enjoyed shopping, either for antiques or the perfect gift for someone. She was the family photographer and liked to spend time with the family. She will be greatly missed.
Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at a later date as per her wishes. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
