HOBSON — Georgia Jean Bingham, 52, of Hobson passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017. She was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on Sept. 8, 1964, to Gerry Endecott and Carmela Clark Endecott.
Georgia’s family moved to Wyoming when she was young. She attended school in Big Piney and was active in 4-H. After high school she attended and graduated from Eastern Wyoming College with a degree in animal science. She interned in Gainesville, Texas, breaking horses.
On Nov. 30, 1984, in Big Piney, she married J.T. Bingham. They moved to Rosebud and then to eastern Kansas for a while, breaking and training horses. They moved back to Rosebud, where Georgia spent ten years, from 1986-1996, working on the Larson Angus Ranch.
In 1998, Georgia and J.T. moved to Hobson, where she worked for the Basin Angus Ranch until 2011, when it went out of business. It was then that Georgia was diagnosed with breast cancer. Georgia loved to ride and used her talents in many ways. There was a time when she did day riding, checking on pairs for the local ranchers. She was a member of the Rosebud County Sidesaddle Club and an active 4H Leader for over 30 years. Georgia was also active with the Judith Basin County Fair Horse Show. She kept busy following her sons as they competed in athletics; and in addition to her own two boys, she would take along any and all children to help them ride.
Georgia is survived by her husband of 32 years, J.T.; sons, Kaleb and Kevin; parents, Gerry and Carmela Endecott; sisters, Jan Soester and Mindy Griffin; and brother, Jeff Endecott. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Endecott and her grandparents.
