THORNTON, Colo. - Gregg F. Cartwright, 54, of Thornton, died on Nov. 14, 2008, in Denver.
He was born on April 2, 1954, in Forsyth, Mont., to Malcolm Cartwright and Marilyn B. (Boyd) Cartwright. He attended schools in Forsyth, Mont. Gregg married Rebecca M. Hernandez on Oct. 21, 2006, in Westminster. For the past 12 years, Gregg was a truck driver for Safeway out of the Denver Distribution Center. He was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, the Cross Eyed Riders Chapter of Broomfield and the CCT HOG Chapter.
He loved the Lord and had a real zeal for life. His glass was always half full no matter the circumstance and he was always optimistic. He had incredible wisdom for his age, was a good teacher and always lead by example to his children and others.
Gregg is survived by his wife, Rebecca of Thornton; daughter Lacy (boyfriend Karlo) Cartwright of Denver and son, Tyson (girlfriend Teresa) Cartwright of Laramie, Wyo., and their mother Kathy Olson of Laramie; sister, Kelly (Sam) Handley of Billings; and his mixed lab, Jack. Preceded in death by both parents and sister, Linda in 2006.
A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 2 p.m., at Grace Church, 10100 Grant St., Thornton.
