EDMONDS, Wash. — Guy Bulltail, 40, of Edmonds, Wash., formerly of Lodge Grass, died Dec. 24, 2009, in Seattle, Wash.
He was born Dec. 22, 1969, in Crow Agency, a son of Veronica Arthur and Robert Bulltail Sr. He graduated from Lodge Grass High School, received his Associates degree from Little Big Horn College and later attended Washington State University. He was employed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Lapwai, Idaho, then Spokane and settled in Everett, Wash.
Guy was a member of the National Guard, Catholic Church and was a Ties the Bundle child.
His father; grandparents Guy and Margaret Bulltail, Josh and Hazel Arthur and Marie Allman; god parents Joe and Josephine Gets Down; aunt Rose Bulltail and cousins Josephine Little Light, Shawn Bear Ground, Donald Old Elk, Faylene White, Rosella and Regina Bulltail preceded Guy in death.
Survivors include his mother Veronica Bulltail of Idaho; a best friend Norman Sand; his sisters Veronica Good Luck and Margarita (Robert) Hugs; his brothers Clayton (Angie) Good Luck, Robert Bulltail Jr. and Richard Arthur; his grandparents Francis Paisano, Loretta Antell and Perry Isaac; his aunts Regina Pretty on Top, Doris Gets Down, Eva and Carol Bulltail, Helene (Victor) Sisson, Mary, JoAnn and Patricia Arthur, Elizabeth (Ben) Attao, Virginia (Tony) Dick, Rachael (Larry) Edwards and Edna Paisano; his uncles Dewey (Patsy), Wales (Laverne), Joseph (Clara), Grant (Linda) and Lennis (Georgeen) Bulltail, Ferris (Linda) Paisano, Benjamin (Constance), James, Webster, Marcus and Ralph (Linda) Arthur; and his extended family including the Bulltail, Blaine, Plenty Hawk, Left Hand, Horn, Flatmouth, Small, White Hip, Black Eagle, Howe, Arthur, Spencer, Isaacs, Hayes, Picard, Allman and Antell families. Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Monday in the Lodge Grass Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 29, in the Church. Interment will follow in the Lodge Grass Cemetery. Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements.
