James “Jim” Glen Bayne, a United States Veteran, age 64, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013, after a long battle with brain cancer.
Jim was a science teacher for 25 years in the Billings School District. He was well-known for his unique teaching style and variety of animals in the classroom. He enjoyed the time and the antics between him and fellow teachers while teaching at Lewis and Clark Middle School.
Over the past few years, Jim appreciated the company of caregivers and close friends.
Jim is survived by his mother, Virginia Bayne of Livingston; his sister, Glenda Keeney of Livingston; his two daughters, Erin Bayne of Portland, Ore., and Jennifer Cunningham of Billings; his grandson, Ethan Cunningham; his nephews, Mike and Ronnie Keeney and their families of Salt Lake City; and his good friend, Bill, the man, the myth, the legend.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Glen Bayne.
Cremation has taken place. No services are planned at this time.
