Jeremy Michael Funston entered this world on Feb. 23, 1982, in Billings. Jeremy was taken from us on Nov. 7, 2010, due to a fatal auto accident.
Jeremy was the first grandson on both sides of the family and was loved by so many.
He moved with his family to Missoula in 1991, where he attended Russell Elementary, Meadow Hill Middle School and graduated in 2000 from Sentinel High School.
Upon graduating from high school, he worked alongside his buddies for B & M Concrete. He then moved to Hawaii to follow in the footsteps of his grandfathers, uncles and cousins to learn the Ironworkers trade. Just before his 25th birthday, Jeremy attended Montana Tech and was a member of the Oredigger Football team.
He moved back to Billings in the summer of 2009, where he was employed at UPS and Bin 119.
Jeremy was a people person, knew how to brighten your day and make you laugh. He was intelligent, witty, creative, well spoken, humorous, had one of the best personalities and the biggest heart. He was our protector.
Jeremy was known by many names including Tons of Fun, Funstonator, Funny, Remey, Fun-ster, T-Bone and Jer Bear.
He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Vuckovich; sister Katie Funston; his dog Moose, all from Missoula; his father, Gary Funston and stepmother Jeanne Funston, Stevensville; stepbrother Josh Sharp; stepsister Kilynn Sharp, both from Helena; his sweetheart, Kristen Kramer, Billings; grandparents Gene and Noreen Vuckovich; grandparents Jerry and Agnes Funston, all from Anaconda; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and many good friends.
His smile was infectious and touched many lives. He will be truly missed and loved by many.
There will be a celebration of Jeremy's life at Christ the King Catholic Church on Thursday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. Reception immediately following the service.
There is a Jeremy Funston memorial set up at the Missoula Federal Credit Union or donations can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
