SALT LAKE CITY — Karen Kay (Glasgow) Schultz was born July 13, 1946, to Beverly Jean and Floyd Edgar Glasgow in Billings, at Deaconess Hospital. Karen passed away in the morning on June 17, 2014.
Karen graduated from Billings West High School in 1964. After high school, she married Louis Schultz on Aug. 21, 1970. They lived in Apache Junction and Tollefson, Ariz., for 13 years before moving to St. George, Utah, where Louis and Karen were employed and resided for another four years. In 1987, they moved to Salt Lake City, where she lived until her death.
Karen is survived by her husband Louis of Salt Lake; her mother Beverly Glasgow of Billings; her brothers Tom and Bob Glasgow of Billings; and her niece Taneigha Glasgow, also of Billings.
Karen loved and supported most sports, with a great affinity for the Utah Jazz, Salt Lake City Bees and the Billings Mustangs. She will be sorely missed by her loving friends, as she was the chief score keeper at their weekly pool league in Salt Lake. Karen lived her life giving her unconditional love to her husband, family and friends. She will be remembered as a woman with a heart larger than life itself.
Memorial Services will be announced later.
