ROUNDUP — After a battle with cancer, Lyle Wayne Moore went peacefully into the Lord’s arms on Sept. 1, 2012, at the age of 64. Lyle was born to Jack and Ann (Hein) Moore on May 15, 1948, in Roundup, Mont.
Lyle married Ruby Yerger in Roundup, Mont., on Feb. 9, 1968, and lived in Roundup. He worked at Soap Drilling 23 years, Midget Coal Mine five years, and Musselshell County Road Crew 19 years.
Lyle loved fishing, hunting, and swapping those stories, with his sons and friends. He was quite an outgoing character who liked to tease and laugh, spend time with his family and friends (especially Richard and Tommy), play cards, and made friends everywhere he went. Lyle was an honorable man who was very well liked. His strength of character and honesty has been a blessing and attribute that has been passed along to his sons. The world was a wonderful place with Lyle in it and, although he’s with the Lord now, we will greatly miss him on earth.
Surviving him are his wife of 44 years, Ruby; and children, Ron (Susie) Moore (Arizona), and Randy (Terri) Moore (Billings); five grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Also surviving is a brother, Clinton Moore; and a loving mother-in-law, Helen Yerger. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Wesley Moore.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at 11 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church on 602 Main Street, Roundup, Mont. A luncheon will follow the service.
